Exporting Message Responses

When the shipping agents API has processed the consignment submission, it should respond by returning a message that has the details it has given the consignment and the images for the labels etc. These are held in a log table called Message Responses.

Searching for Message Response will bring up the list page. However its far more common to access the response from the message submitted page so that you see the response to a particular message that’s been sent. This is done via the drilldown on the ‘Has Response’ column

You can export the XML to see what was in the raw message. This can often be very useful for the Shipping Agents support desk to diagnose issues.

Note that like Message Request, Message Response is part of Clever Integration as so can be used for messages to other systems than Shipping Agents, these will in this case also be shown in Message Responses.
