If you are also using Clever Shipment Management as well as Clever Comments, then an additional Shipment Management Drop option will be available on the Comment Types Page which allows comments entered against certain areas to be inherited onto a Shipment Management Drop. This provides functionality to allow comments that maybe related to Delivery Instructions for example, to be copied across.
The Comment Source types where the Shipment Management Drop option is available are listed below. For the different document types listed, the comments may have originated from a Customer or Ship-Address, depending on the inheritance options defined.

- Sales Return Order
- Service Order
- Purchase Order
- Purchase Return Order
- Transfer Order
- Customer
- Ship-To Address
Note - Clever Comments is not a hard dependency of Clever Shipment Management and neither App requires that the other is installed.
