The Bing Maps integration adds new menu options to the Drops list to add the ability to optimise the sequence of drops on the route. In addition to the Optimise Drop Sequence for Drop Time Slots, two new optimisation options are available; Optimise Drop Sequence for Distance and Optimise Drop Sequence for Time.
This will rearrange the drop sequence for the shortest total distance based on starting and ending the route at the warehouse specified in the Location Code.

Upon selecting either option the user will be informed of the result of the optimisation.
If you specify the characteristics of a vehicle against the Vehicle Card then the route optimisation will automatically use truck routing and avoid roads that are not suitable for the vehicle.
| Important: The use of truck routing is used as a guide in order to optimise the delivery order on a route and is taken from the latest information provided by Bing Maps. It should not be relied upon that the roads suggested are suitable for a particular vehicle.
