Some item information such as weights and measures may only be known once an item is received in the warehouse and this information is critical to the smooth operation of the warehouse. It is often desirable to allow warehouse operatives to record this information without having access to the full item records and to have a mechanism where missing information can easily be identified. The Warehouse Item Information Worksheet has been added to fulfil these purposes.

The Warehouse Item Information Worksheet Line has the following fields:

Item No.

The Item number of the item. Non-editable.

Variant Code

The Variant Code of the item. Only applies to Bar Codes. Non-editable.

Unit of Measure Code

The Unit of Measure Code. Non-editable.

Qty. Per Unit of Measure

The Quantity per Unit of Measure Code. Non-editable.

Description

The description of the item/variant. Non-editable.

Net Weight

The current Net Weight. Non-editable.

New Net Weight

The new Net Weight. Defaults to existing Net Weight.

Gross Weight

The current Gross Weight. Non-editable.

New Gross Weight

The new Gross Weight. Defaults to existing Gross Weight.

Length

The current Length. Non-editable.

New Length

The new Length. Defaults to existing Length.

Width

The current Width. Non-editable.

New Width

The new Width. Defaults to existing Width.

Height

The current Height. Non-editable.

New Height

The new Height. Defaults to existing Height.

Cubage

The current Cubage. Non-editable.

New Cubage

The new Cubage. Defaults to existing Cubage. This will be automatically calculated with any change to the Length, Width or Height fields.

Bar Code (Item Reference)

The current Bar Code. Non-editable.

New Bar Code (Item Reference)

The new Bar Code. Defaults to existing Bar Code.

Note: The updated data fields are colour-coded for ease of entry. Red for missing data, green for updated/corrected data) and grey where the value matches the current value.

The following actions allow the usage of the Warehouse Item Information Worksheet:

Populates the worksheet with items (including units of measure/item references) where some of the information is missing. Selecting this action shows the following dialog:

The dialog allows the data to be filtered by fields on the Item record.

Populates the worksheet with items (including units of measure/item references) regardless of whether information is missing. This function can be used to check/update existing data. Selecting this action shows the following dialog:

The dialog allows the data to be filtered by fields on the Item record.

Update the reverent records with any updated data.

Cancel any updates made and revert to original values in the worksheet.

Print a document of the worksheet data that can be used to record the data.
