If you start using Clever Document Links with the Database as the File Repository but would like to migrate these file to a SharePoint repository at a later date then this is possible by using the Migrate Archive option.
To migrate from a Database repository to a SharePoint repository the following steps should be followed:
- Open the Document Links Setup.
- Change the File Storage from 'Database' to 'SharePoint'.
- Complete the SharePoint Setup Wizard to configure the connection to your SharePoint Environment.
- Select the Migrate Archive action.
The documents will be moved into the SharePoint area defined automatically. A confirmation message will be displayed once complete.
