In is often useful to have time limited comments that can appear on standard documents. Examples of where this may be useful is to alert customers to holiday working hours of special promotions. To facilitate this, a new class of comments called Standard Comments has been created. Standard Comments work like other other comment pages in the system but are not attached to a specific entity. Standard Comments can be created in association with Comment Types and therefore automatically inherited onto documents as specified (For example, a notice about a holiday closure could be inherited onto all sales orders and printed onto the respective order confirmation).
The list of standard comments can be accessed from the search by searching for Standard Comments.
