On the Components FastTab there is a single setting available, Hide Backward/Forward Flushed Components that can be set if you do not wish to see Components that are automatically consumed during the production process and therefore do not need to be confirmed by the Operator. 

If the Hide Backward/Forward Flushed Components setting is not turned on then the MES Components screen will show the Items that are automatically consumed, but the Operator will not be able to post consumption manually for these Items.
