The following are terms that you should understand to make the most of Clever Warehouse Plus:

Bin:  A bin is any storage type within a location that contains one or more spaces or slots for product. Typically, it is the most specific a warehouse location can get.

Bin Area: Bin Areas are a classification for bins with specific characteristics such as temperature control or security cages. 

Floor Bin: A warehouse bin that does not form part of a rack and is free-standing, such as a designated area of the warehouse floor-space, or a shipping container.

Rack: Racks can be thought of as large sections of shelving units that store your products. Depending on the warehouse, racks might be identified as an entire shelving unit spanning one side of an aisle or as small sections within a long unit of shelving.

Rack Level: A shelf of a rack, in effect a vertical sub-division of the rack.

Rack Section: A section of a rack shelf, in effect a horizontal sub-division of a rack.

Rack Sub-Level:  A division of a rack level. These may be used if a warehouse bin is sub-divided for small parts bins or roller racking.

Rack Sub-Section:  A division of a rack section. These may be used if a warehouse bin is sub-divided for small parts bins or roller racking.
