Once Clever Shipment Management has been fully configured for the first time, users are likely to have Open or Released Sales, Purchase and Transfer Documents created prior to the installation of Clever Shipment Management that will not have a Route assigned.
To save having to go through and manually assign these orders to a Route, functionality has been created to update the Sales, Purchase and Transfer Document lines with a Delivery Area Code and Route No. This will work on the assumption that the documents have a valid Shipping Agent Code and Shipping Agent Service Code combination defined.
To update the existing documents, navigate to Shipment Management Setup and select the Update Existing Document action from the ribbon:
