The Route Card shows the details of individual delivery routes. From here the order of drops on the route can be managed or drops moved to another existing route or create a new route altogether.

The General tab of the Route Card shows basic information about the route such as the Delivery Area code, Location Code, Shipment Date, and the Vehicle and Driver assigned to the route. The Vehicle and Driver can be amended from the page.

It is also possible see the warehouse details for the route such as the number of picks lines and shipments lines. The Shipment Bin indicates the warehouse shipment bin that the items are picked into. This can be useful if handling multiple routes as items can be picked into dedicated shipment bins for a route/vehicle making it easier to load the vehicle.

If Populate Shipment Bin On new Route is enabled in the Shipment Management Setup then the Shipment Bin will be defaulted as follows:

If using Clever Shipment management in association with Clever Containers the Shipment Bin will be taken from the Shipping Bins function in Clever Containers otherwise if Clever Containers is not installed or no Shipment Bin is defined for the Location/Shipping Agent/Shipping Agent Service then the default Shipment Bin against the Location will be used.

The current status of the route as well as the code description is also displayed. This is colour code green if the current status is in progress, red if an error has been reported against the current status and black if the route has been completed.

The Totals tab shows the total Volume, Net Weight and Gross Weight of the shipment. These values are taken from the respective fields on the Item table. This is used for planning the amount of deliveries that can be fit onto the vehicle. if the Gross Weight exceeds the capacity of the Vehicle (if assigned) then this field will be highlighted red

The Drops tab shows the list of drops for deliveries and/or collections on the route. See Managing Drops for more information.
