Using External Document No's on Sales Documents but feel like the warning about the Reference being used before comes too late as it's on Posting of a document? Ever wondered what other documents the reference has been used on before but thought it would take too long to check?
Clever Trade Plus has made some exciting enhancements around this feature, solely for Sales documents. Not only will Business Central now bring up a warning if the External Document No is blank on 'release' of the "Sales Order" but it can also bring up a list view of both 'Open' Sales documents and Posted Sales documents where this reference has been used before.
As these can be defined at Customer level, you have enhanced visibility, easy access of data and a warning much sooner in the process so using external references for Customers has just been made simpler!
