If you are using DPD as a Shipping Agent, then they are able to incorporate Delivery Instructions within their Consignments.
Default Delivery Instructions can be defined against either the ‘Customer Card’ or the ‘Ship-To Address Card’ and will be automatically populated onto Sales Order Headers if defined.
In addition, Delivery Instructions can also just be added manually on Sales Order Headers.
Note - Delivery Instructions used on a Consignment will then be derived using the following hierarchy:

Sales Order - Can be added/amended manually where required.

Ship-To Address Card - Will be automatically copied into the ‘Delivery Instruction’ field on the Sales Order Header if defined.

Customer Card - Will be automatically copied into the ‘Delivery Instruction’ field on the Sales Order Header if defined.

If Delivery Instructions have not been defined in any of the above areas, then it will be left blank on the Consignment.
