The "Lot No. Information List" is now inclusive of some new fields to allow extra visibility per Lot.

Firstly, there is a Factbox available which can shows the Qty (Base), Location Code, Zone Code Bin Code per highlighted Lot No. This is based on the Bin Contents and therefore will only show the stock breakdown if Bin Contents are in use.

Additionally, there are new headers available to provide more information at a glance. The Sales Expiry Date field will be populated on the receipt of goods where "Shelf life requirements" are set up for the Item with Transaction Type of 'Sales'. This will use the Expiry Date (populated when the "Item Tracking Lines" have been updated with an Expiration date on receipt) and working backwards, take away the Item Shelf life thus providing the last date that the Item is acceptable to sell ensuring it has enough Shelf life. Using the example below, the Item shelf life where Transaction Type is 'Sales' would be set up as 10M, therefore providing I sell the Lot by 28/04/2024 ensures it will have 5 months shelf life before it expires on 28/02/2025.

Remaining Inventory will show the remaining quantity in inventory for the Lot No. Originating Lot No is populated on Sub-Lot lines only which will display the original Lot No that the Sub Lot was created from. The No of Sub-Lots, applicable to Original Lot No's only, holds a drill-down value which will open up the entries displaying what Sub-Lots have been created from it.

When opening the card page blocking process can be more flexible. Beside to the standard Blocked field now we are able to block the sales, purchase and service transactions separately with the 3 new checkbox fields:

    • Blocked (Sales)
    • Blocked (Purchase)
    • Blocked (Service)

If we set any of the three fields above we can still manually post item journal lines and the system will not stop us to register 'Warehouse Pick' and 'Warehouse Put-away'.
