If the Shipping Agent Usage and Charges Page has been setup, then the most appropriate Shipping Agent and Shipping Agent Service can be set on the source document. This can be based on a combination of one of more of the following factors:
- Shipment Date
- Ship-to Country/Region
- Ship-to Post Code
- Total Weight of the order
- Total Volume of the order
- Total Value of the order.

To select the most appropriate Shipping Agent and Service select Calculate Shipping Action from the Functions Menu on the Ribbon.
If Select Shipping Agent/Service on Release is enabled in the Shipment Management Setup. the most appropriate shipping agent will be selected automatically at the point the Sales Document is released.
If Calculate Shipping Charges is enabled in the Shipment Management Setup. then an additional lines will be added to the Sales Document containing the shipping charge. The line type will be dependant on the setting on the Shipping Agent Usage and Charges Page.
