The Engineering Change Control functionality available as part of the Clever Manufacturing Plus solution ensures changes can be managed directly within Business Central, ensuring that you have all of the information you need at your fingertips and you can implement changes quickly and efficiently.
Engineering Change Control provides control for updates to the following manufacturing information.
- Production Bills of Material
- Production By-Products
- Routings
The process of tracking changes for manufacturing within Clever Manufacturing Plus starts with the "Engineering Change Request" being created and this is used to manage the reason for the change and supporting information. Upon successful processing of a Change Request the updates are made directly inside of Business Central and detail of the change is stored as an "Engineering Change Order" which is also stored and can be used for tracking/reporting purposes.
