What are the supported devices and minimum system requirements for the Clever WMS Devices application V8?

Clever WMS Devices has been designed to work with Honeywell and Zebra Handheld Devices.

The table below outlines the minimum and recommended device specifications for running the Clever WMS Devices client.

Feature Minimum Requirement Recommended Requirement Note
Operating System Android 10 Latest Android version (Android 16) Our application is backward compatible up to Android 7, however Google Play policies and security requirements mandate using newer Android versions. Devices running the latest Android OS are recommended for compliance and future updates.
RAM 3 GB 4–6 GB
Internal Storage 16 GB 32–64 GB Captured images are written to the device’s internal flash storage (or external SD card if configured). If you capture frequent or high-resolution images, you should use devices with higher internal storage (64–128 GB) to avoid storage exhaustion and performance degradation.
Expandable Storage Optional Optional ** In a future version the client will be updated to display images and expanded storage can be used to cache more images.
Bluetooth Optional Optional ** Can be used with external Bluetooth scanners.
NFC Optional Optional ** This is needed as we will be using NFC cards to read data using devices. This feature is planned for future releases.
Scanner Control Intent-based Intent-based If the device is Zebra it must be pre-configured with DataWedge. If the device is Honeywell it must be pre-configured with ScanWedge.

**These are not a requirement for 8.2.0.25 but are a factor in future-proofing the device.
