Clever Packing has been designed to be the step in between the standard processes of Picking the Items required for a Sales Order and Shipping them out to the Customer.
A Packing Orders can be created in one of two ways, either manually in Business Central or via the Clever Packing Portal.
When creating a Packing Order via the Clever Packing Portal, a basic overview of the steps that should be taken is described below:

When processing a Pick for a Sales Order in Business Central, all Items must be picked into a Container. Containers are part of our Clever WMS Containers. Please refer to the documentation for more information.

Select the relevant Packing Station and Packing Operator

Enter the Container Number

The most suitable Packing for the Items within the Container will be suggested. This can either be accepted or changed as required

Scan the Items Picked into the Package

Weigh the Package

Post the Packing Order

The Sales Order may then be automatically Shipped depending on the option selected in Clever Packing Setup.

In addition to the Shipment, any Delivery Documents may also be automatically printed based on the options selected in Clever Packing Setup

Also depending on the option selected in Clever Packing Setup, the Invoice may also be posted.
