Using Containers in Service

Use containers on the “Service Order” screen for item lines that are shipped or handled through container-tracked inventory flows.

• Container tracking can be recorded against service lines.
• The system validates container tracking quantities when required before posting.
• Posted service shipment activity retains the related container tracking history.

Setup and User Checks

If container tracking is required by your item and location setup, users must complete container tracking correctly for service shipments to post.

Note: Where tracking is required, the total tracked quantity must match the quantity being shipped.
