Automate SKU Creation provides a streamlined way to generate Stockkeeping Units (SKUs) for items based on predefined setup.
In Inventory Setup, once SKU creation has been configured using Item Category Codes, users can run the Create Stockkeeping Units report to automatically create SKUs for the relevant items and their variants.
The report supports filters when run manually, allowing users to specify which Item Categories and Locations should be processed. It can also be scheduled to run on the Job Queue for automated processing. This ensures that SKUs are consistently created for items that require them, reducing manual effort and improving data accuracy.
